"We honoured the victims properly" - Noel Gallagher tells 6 Music Breakfast about the We Are Manchester show

We were talking about the We Are Manchester show which marked the reopening of the Manchester Arena on Saturday night.

The first show to take place at the venue since the terrorist attack took place there in May when 22 people were killed - so a really poignant and emotionally charged evening...

The line up included Blossoms, Pixie Lott, Rick Astley, Courteeners, Bugzy Malone and the headliner Noel Gallagher and The High Flying Birds.

Oasis' Don't Look Back in Anger became connected to the tragic events, when, after a minute's silence for the victims of the attack, a crowd of Mancunians started singing the song. And the video of that was shared all over the world, and the song has become a symbol of Manchester's spirit.

6 Music Breakfast's Matt Everitt spoke to Noel about what it was like doing the show.
