The trumpeter and composer of Mercury-nominated jazz band Dinosaur reflects on their chances of victory. Are they the token jazz act? Plus trumpeter Laura Jurd explains the origins of the band's name: “I always imagined having this great band called Dinosaur... I had this feeling of this world of electric sounds… and felt like a dinosaur was the creature that best represented the sound in my head.
