AI bots will cost jobs, but give us 'free services'
A young British entrepreneur based in Silicon Valley known as the 'robot lawyer' claims advancements in Artificial Intelligence will cost jobs, but lead to some 'free services'.
Joshua Browder, whose company 'DoNotPay' helps people challenge parking tickets, was speaking to 5 live after Facebook shut down an experiment with two AI bots, after they developed their own secret language.
While it's being played down by some, Joshua said, "the reality is this has many practical implications".
He added, "once bots can understand natural language everyone will be able to get access to services for free"
Joshua said AI bots could even replace some jobs like doctors doing "low-level work", but "from the consumer side, everything will become free" and " that will be a great time to be alive."
