Alfie on homophobic hate in Football
Is the world of football homophobic, on and off the pitch?
Former Wales and Lions rugby captain Gareth Thomas has been tackling homophobia in football for a documentary being broadcast on 麻豆社 One Wales. 'Alfie v Homophobia: Hate in the Beautiful Game' falls on the 50th anniversary of the Sexual Offences Act, which decriminalised male homosexuality between men over the age of 21.
Gareth Thomas spoke to Oliver Hides on Good Morning Wales and explained why he'd made the programme.
