BlackMoon 1348 and the Tashi Lhunpo Monastery: Spirituality & Music
BlackMoon1348 are a heavily inspired Tibetan band, blending sub-harmonic Tibetan throat singing with longhorns and gyaling (Tibetan Oboe).
After travelling around Nepal, they decided to collaborate with Tibetan monks from the Tashi Lhunpo monastery, to spread awareness of Tibet and its traditions, both musical and otherwise.
David Kelly and Adeline Rozario of BlackMoon1348 and Buddhist monk Ven Lhakpa talk about their collaboration.
