Colin Greenwood: An Afternoon with Q-Tip
Some of Colin's favourite funk and soul tracks came via a chance meeting with Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest. Q turned up in Oxfordshire in full Nigerian International football strip to see Radiohead Producer Nigel Godrich, but Nigel had gone off to try and buy the mixing desk used for the Sex Pistols' ’Nevermind the Bollocks’ and The Clash’s ‘London Calling’. So with no Nigel, Colin and Q just played tunes and talked music for hours, joined by Colin’s 6 year old son doing some impromptu break dancing.
