Fred Swaniker is founder of the African Leadership University, a bold project which seeks to have a presence in 25 African countries within the next few decades and provide its graduates with a "mission for life".

He believes that because education in Africa is a fertile ground for innovation, the seeds of the next world-class universities are being planted on the continent.
