Reading FC: Gunter always wanted to stay
Royals right-back Chris Gunter is settled in Berkshire and wanted a new contract.
The defender penned a two-year extension to his existing deal which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2020.
"It's nice to get it done quite early," he told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "I've always said I'm settled at the club, I really enjoy being here.
"As long as the club want me, I'd be happy to stay."
And Gunter was gutted to have lost Danny Williams after his move to Huddersfield.
"He's a very good player and a good person as well.
"Football does just move on, we will miss him...he is obviously a very good player and we wish him well."
