PM tells MPs: We will not accept FGM in UK
The prime minster said "we will not accept FGM in this country" when she was asked about a deportation case in PMQs.
SNP MP Hannah Bardell spoke of the domestic abuse faced by a constituent who refused for her daughter to undergo female genital mutilation (FGM).
The woman now faces being deported and Ms Bardell said she had "got nowhere" when calling for Home Office intervention.
