Nigel Benn and Steve Collins agree to rematch after 21 years
Boxing legends Nigel Benn and Steve Collins have agreed to a rematch after 21 years.
Dublin-born Collins has twice beaten Londoner Benn, who retired after their second fight in 1996.
Speaking to Colin Murray on 5 live Breakfast, Collins joked that he would "knock him out again鈥, before adding: "I shouldn't have said that, that was wrong. Nigel actually looks in better shape now than he did when I fought him many years ago."
Collins also made it clear the decision was "all about the money" and that there was no way the British Boxing Board of Control would sanction the fight meaning a foreign licence would be needed.
