‘Please help, don't let her die’
A 14-year-old girl has been saved by visitors to a US amusement park after they spotted her dangling of a ride 25 feet in the air. Leeann Winchell was part of a large group who gathered underneath the girl at the Six Flags Great Escape Park in New York and helped catch the girl when she fell from the gondola.
Leeann told 5 live how she heard the girls’ brother screaming "please help, don't let her die, somebody save her, I can't hold on much longer".
Leeann’s father was also knocked unconscious as he attempted to catch the girl.
