Grenfell resident: ‘I’m just thankful my parents are alive’
Grenfell Tower resident Costa Suarez says he is “just thankful his parents are alive” after the Grenfell Tower fire.
His parents managed to escape the building quickly, but Costa said: “if they would have waited five/ten minutes more, they may have had to go through much worse conditions.
There have since been protests over the response to the disaster.
However, Costa said: “Up to now, we’ve got no complaints, [the council] have done everything swiftly and quickly.”
