Elvis Presley
Geoff marks the anniversary of arguably the most important recording date in music.
This Saturday on the rock n roll party, Geoff marks the anniversary of arguably the most important recording date in music history.
July 1954..when Elvis Presley made his first recordings for Sam Phillip`s `Sun` records in Memphis. In his short time there, before signing with RCA and recording `Heartbreak Hotel`, Elvis recorded some of the greatest-ever rockabilly. Geoff will be playing some of his lesser-heard Sun tracks, plus some out-takes and rarities.
