Watch pupils from South Yorkshire perform a short adaptation of Mussorgsky's A Night On The Bare Mountain.

By adapting the Ten Pieces orchestral arrangements, the group developed a new piece following an A-B-A structure. The beginning, 'A', involves everyone playing together from the main theme. In section 'B', each instrumental section of the group (individually or in pairs) plays a short solo of 4 bars each. The piece concludes by repeating the ensemble section 'A'.
