Labour candidate: Why Corbyn speech was ‘spot on’
Labour candidate for Bootle Peter Dowd has told 5 live that Jeremy Corbyn’s campaign speech was “spot on” and “struck the right note.” The Labour leader was speaking in Manchester as he formally launched the party’s election campaign.
He also accused some newspapers of “hypocrisy on a staggering level” over coverage of the Conservative’s plan to cap energy prices.
