Labour: People 'feel they are being demonised'
Voters feel a "complete disconnect between what is happening down in Westminster, and what is happening on their doorstep", says Labour's Sarah Champion.
She was speaking to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn after Jeremy Corbyn launched his party's election campaign in Manchester, days after Andy Burnham won the region's mayoral contest.
The leader said there would be no going back on last year's EU referendum result under a Labour government.
