Savage on the death of his father from Pick's disease
An emotional Robbie Savage tells Andrew Flintoff and Matthew Syed about the death of his father from Pick's disease.
Savage was discussing mental health and what it was like visiting his father in hospital during the last 17 weeks of his life.
Savage said: "There were times, as much as I hate to say it and I might get a bit criticised for it...you get in the car and you鈥檙e driving there thinking: 鈥淲hat鈥檚 the point? I鈥檓 going to get there, it鈥檚 my dad, he hasn鈥檛 got a clue who I am.鈥
Andrew Flintoff asked how that made the former football feel, Savage responded: "Horrendous, mate, horrendous. You鈥檙e driving there, every time I left I was in tears, in tears thinking that鈥檚 my dad鈥"
