Mayor hits back: Skegness is 'indomitable'
A cartoon that appeared in the New European newspaper is "condescending", according to the mayor of the seaside town satirised within it.
Dick Edginton told Carolyn Quinn on Radio 4's The World Tonight that Skegness is a "forward thinking area" and its mascot, the Jolly Fisherman, was "indomitable".
