The group taking on one of Cole Porter's biggest musicals
Bill Buckley meets some of the cast and crew putting on 'Anything Goes' in Ascot.
For an amateur theatre group such as Ocean Theatre, putting on a production like 'Anything Goes' could be quite daunting, but as Costume Designer Sally Smith explained, it is achievable.
"Our creative director Andrew is amazing.
"The students do pay a fee to be part of Ocean...and we try to pull things together and do things on a budget, like the costumes!"
And Abbie Mallett, who plays Reno Sweeney, says that she is looking forward to getting involved in what will be her last show.
"I joined four years ago now, this is my seventh show now.
"It's really well known around the area, everyone always raves about the theatre company, so as soon as I could I was joining, and it was the best decision I have ever made."
