Maidenhead United: Devonshire not entirely happy despite win
Magpies boss Alan Devonshire still wanted more despite 6-1 win vs Oxford City.
Despite the 6-1 win over Oxford City on Tuesday night, Magpies boss Alan Devonshire was unhappy with his side's first half performance.
"I was not happy the first 20-25 minutes," Devonshire told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Ady Williams. "I had a little chat with them at half time, I wanted more than that second half, and I think we controlled it completely in the second half.
"We're rolling on, and it's great to be in this position."
Devonshire also had words of praise for his strikers.
"Tarps (Dave Tarpey) has had a tremendous season, and his partnership with Marks is probably the best in the league."
