Watch Me by Angela Clarke has social media app Snapchat as a central theme, with the police given 24 hours to save an abducted woman. Sirens is the debut novel from Joseph Knox. It's a fast-moving, noir thriller about a disgraced detective who's forced to go undercover to investigate the drugs scene in Manchester - "Exceptionally good. Very, very slick".
