Jockey fall, homeless & police recruitment
Didcot jockey falls in race, homeless in Osney & police recruiting 200 new officers.
A jockey from Didcot is recovering in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Switzerland, after a terrible fall during a horse race on a frozen lake yesterday. David talks to a trainer who was at the meeting and saw the crash. We meet a group of homeless people who have moved into the old power station building in Osney, after spending nearly two months squatting in a former car showroom in Iffley. Plus Thames Valley Police have started a recruitment campaign to attract 200 new officers.
