Trump, Brexit and investment in Africa

Will the Trump presidency be an investment plus, or an investment minus for Africa? Trade between the US and Africa is worth about $37bn (拢29bn) and the US sends $12bn (拢10bn) worth of aid each year.

Johannesburg's stock exchange - by far the continent's largest and most liquid - is the gateway for many investors keen to get into the African market... but is that market a little jittery given not only the advent of President Trump, but also Brexit?
