Should judges approve strike action?
Conservative backbencher Chris Philp is introducing a bill to the Commons that would see bids for strikes having to be approved by a judge.
But Mick Lynch of the RMT union, said the MP was really saying: "If you strike in the way I like and it is very ineffective, I will tolerate your ability to strike."
They spoke to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn about strikes on Southern Rail services, which have seen commuters struggling to get to work in the London, Surrey and Sussex areas, in a long-running dispute about guards and on-board safety.
