Overturned fire engine kills pedestrian
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a fire engine that lost control and overturned while on an emergency call in Royston.
It happened on a roundabout at the junction of York Way and Old North Road at 22:45 GMT on Wednesday.
Two firefighters were taken to hospital to be checked over and the vehicle had to be recovered from a ditch.
The pedestrian has yet to be formally identified.
