The sky above Cromer was illuminated by a spectacular firework display on Sunday, 8 January.

It was supposed to take place a week earlier to mark the start of 2017, but was postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions.

The new date allowed the event to also mark the eve of the 100th anniversary of one of Cromer Lifeboat鈥檚 most famous rescues.

The fundraising display raised more than 拢8,000 through a bucket collection.

This will go towards next year's display and provide donations for local good causes.
