Life as the leader of Reading Borough Council
Jo Lovelock discussed her day to day duties in the role.
"There's never a day, or very rarely a day, when I don't have something on. And there's not just meetings at the council, there's also attending to issues that constituents bring to your attention.
"I wouldn't say I've never had sleepless nights, but I am good at keeping a balance.
"There are issues that are very very difficult these days. The cuts to front line services are not beginning to bite...and it's shortsighted in my view."
