Were Wham! about to reunite?
Los Angeles-based DJ Richard Blade has said that former Wham! singer Shirlie Kemp and bassist Deon Estus suggested there might have been a 鈥淲ham! renunion鈥.
Wham! lead singer and pop icon George Michael died on Christmas day of heart failure, according to his manager Michael Lippman.
Blade, a close friend of Michael, said Shirlie Kemp had told him in summer that the band 鈥渕ight be doing something in the future鈥here might be a show.鈥
Blade said: 鈥淒eon Estus had the same feeling that there might be a Wham! reunion鈥 George was apparently up for this because he thought it would be fun.鈥
鈥淲e鈥檝e been robbed of the chance to see a really fun pop band back together,鈥 he added.
