"She has been incredible"
The Queen is to step down as Battersea Dog's Home in Old Windsor.
Claire Horton, Battersea Dogs Home CEO:
"We're a little bit sad because of course we've enjoyed having her majesty as our patron for the last sixty years, but we are absolutely celebrating the fact that she has done such an amazing job.
"She's very well informed about animal issues, she's clearly a big dog and cat lover.
"We spend a lot of time making sure that her majesty is kept up to speed with what we're doing...and we've been very much part of the royal family's lives since Queen Victoria."
