Is there a crisis in UK prisons?
Violence is "out of control" in some British prisons, with a record number of attacks on staff, says the shadow justice secretary.
Richard Burgon said the problems had been "a long time coming" when he spoke to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn, the day after a Parliamentary debate where the justice secretary was questioned about a riot at HM Birmingham.
Journalists Zoe Williams and Kelvin MacKenzie joined in the debate, looking at the role of private prison staff.
