Hindu temple ban over new 'animal fat' 拢5

A national body representing the Hindu community is calling for a ban on the new 拢5 note after it emerged the plastic currency contained animal fat. The National Council of Hindu Temples says producing currency derived from acts of violence upon vulnerable non-aggressive creatures is not the behaviour of civilised beings. The note contains tallow, which is used in candles and soap and traditionally comes from beef or mutton. Satish Sharma is the General Secretary of the National Council of Hindu Temples, and gives his reaction in the following interview with 麻豆社 presenter Satvinder Rana
