PM on future of Brits living in post-Brexit EU
Conservative MP Peter Lilley asks about the future rights of EU citizens in the UK, and British people in EU, and whether the President of the European Council has "intransigently put EU processes ahead of common humanity".
The prime minister said the "reaction that we have seen shows why it was absolutely right for us not to do what the Labour Party wanted us to do".
She claimed it would have given away the guarantee to rights of EU citizens in Britain and that "would have left UK citizens in Europe high and dry".
Mr Lilley referred to European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, but the reply came from Donald Tusk.
