Star Wars' Adam Driver: 'No one can see you're terrified' behind Kylo Ren's mask
Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, said he was pleased to be wearing a mask the first time he stepped on set. He joked: "No one could tell 'is Kylo Ren crying?'"
He said the mask helped him get into character: "No one can see that you're kind of terrified and everyone's looking at you".
The actor, who currently stars in Jim Jarmusch's Paterson, said working on the Star Wars sequel was "surreal". He said he had "lucked out" because, despite the scale of Star Wars, the "process of working on it is almost the exact same" as Paterson.
Paterson is released in cinemas on Friday 25th November.
