What is working life like for women in the UK today?
Eighty-four per cent of women agree that is it harder for women than men to have a successful career and raise a family, according to a ComRes survey for 5 live looking at working life for women in the UK today.
The survey, commissioned as part of the Â鶹Éç's 100 Women season, also revealed women are less confident to apply for a promotion at work than men (56% vs 68%), and less confident to ask for a pay rise than men (32% vs 51%).
ComRes surveyed 2,083 UK adults for Â鶹Éç Radio 5 live.
