Former MP may sue over false abuse claim
The former Conservative MP Harvey Proctor says he's considering taking legal action against the Metropolitan Police over false child abuse claims.
Mr Proctor was offered an apology by the Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe after he lost his job and his house during a 16-month inquiry into an alleged VIP paedophile ring.
Scotland Yard had described the allegations as "credible and true".
Mr Proctor told the Victoria Derbyshire programme that the incident had terrible consequences for him.
