French far-right leader Marine Le Pen hails Trump win
The leader of France's National Front, Marine Le Pen, has said the next stage of a "global revolution" after the vote for Brexit and Donald Trump's election will be a victory for her in the French Presidential race next year.
Speaking to Andrew Marr, she said Mr Trump's victory was a "stone in the building of a new world", in which "patriotic movements" were rising up against "unfettered globalisation".
She said that under her leadership, France would not welcome any more immigrants, because it was full up. She framed the French presidential election as a choice between secularism and national identity or oppression by religious fundamentalism and the EU.
She also responded to allegations that her party is racist, as well as discussing the funding of her campaign by Russian banks.
