Did the US media fail to deliver a broad range of views?
The 'echo chamber' is the theory that people only find ideas that agree with their views, rather than seeking out alternatives that may contradict their opinions, as those are what they find in the media they follow. Has that been the case with the US election? Dr Matthew Ashton, Lecturer in Politics at Trent University, explains.
