People in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland say they've been left angry and out of pocket through a decision by the Indian Government to scrap some of its currency. All 5 hundred and 1 thousand rupee notes are no longer being accepted, making them in effect, worthless.

All this morning 麻豆社 Radio Leicester's Helen McCarthy is live at the Leicester Diabetes Centre to mark World Diabetes Day. She recieves a tour, and an on-air test to check her future risk.

For almost ten years, money raised by Children in Need has been used to help fund the talk-2-sort mediation service at The Bridge in Loughborough. We find out more about what the service does to help the community.
