Julian Joseph celebrates the music of saxophone colossus Sonny Rollins.
He has recorded over 60 albums as a leader and many of his compositions, including ‘Doxy’ and ‘St.Thomas’ are now jazz standards performed by jazz artists across the world.
Rollins has worked with the cream of jazz talent, including trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie, pianist Thelonious Monk and drummer Max Roach.
