UK has 'annoyed the Chinese, annoyed the French'
George Osborne overruled plans for the deal, and Theresa May's team has not handled the issue well, says the coalition minister who struck the deal to build Hinkley point.
Ed Davey told Jo Coburn and Margaret Hodge, on the Daily Politics, that he was not surprised that the Liberal Democrats were opposing the deal, but he said new leader Tim Farron was wrong.
He said: "I was the British minister who commissioned more renewable power than anyone in history, so I love renewables."
