NHS 'under the greatest pressure in a generation' says CEO
NHS leaders in England say the organisation's cash crisis has made it "mission impossible" to balance the books while maintaining standards for patients.
The chief executive of NHS Providers, Chris Hopson, the body that represents NHS Trusts, says Trust cannot make the sums add up any longer.
He said the service is at tipping point, and told Andrew Marr it seemed impossible to deliver the 7-day service the government wants.
