Hit-and-run car 'used as weapon'
A hit-and-run incident in North Walsham is being treated as attempted murder by Norfolk police.
The victim, a 30-year-old man, is lucky to be alive, according to Det Ch Insp Stu Armes, who said the vehicle was "used as a weapon... the striking of the victim in the first passing is bad enough and you can only imagine how fearful he was and how much pain he was in when he had to crawl away to avoid the second contact with the car."
A 43-year-old man from the Wymondham area has been arrested in connection with the incident. He's currently on bail pending further inquiries.
