A34 accidents, search dogs & struggling carnivals

Calls for action to reduce accidents on the A34, the Thames Valley Police Proceeds of Crime Act beneficiaries, plus, the future for struggling carnival events in Oxfordshire.

Newbury MP, Richard Benyon, added his voice to calls for action to reduce accidents on the A34. Just over a quarter of a million pounds was given to local charities last year by Thames Valley Police under the Proceeds of Crime Act, and Search Dogs was one of the main groups to benefit. Plus, is there are future for carnival events in Oxfordshire as Eynsham Carnival struggles to find new people to keep the event alive.
