Campaigner Kate Granger discusses her attitude to dying
Kate Granger, doctor, cancer patient and campaigner has died age 34. She spoke to The Why Factor last summer in the edition ‘talking about death.’ Dr Granger wanted to humanise the face of doctor-patient relations with her campaign #hellomynameis. The campaign grew out of her own experiences of hospital when the doctor who informed her that her cancer had spread, didn’t introduce himself. Kate Granger was awarded an MBE in 2015 for her services to the NHS and improving care. Dr Granger discusses her attitude to dying.
