The county's most welcoming churches
Anthony talks to two churches in Wymondham and Hemblington as they've been recognised as being the most welcoming in Norfolk.
In the first half hour, hymns and worship music to start your Sunday including 'For All The Saints', 'Christ Is Our Cornerstone' and 'Ye Servants Of God' among the hymns and Saint Michael's Singers version of Stuart Townend's 'The Lord's My Shepherd'. The Hymn of the Week is the choice of David who's a churchwarden in Barford and Anthony will tell you more about 'All Creatures Of Our God And King'.
Before seven, Anthony finds out about the pop songs that are being played on church bells and there's also a look at 'New Wine' - the big Christian conference held in the UK.
After seven o'clock, Adam Peaty has broken his own world record and Heather Watson and Kyle Edmund have got tennis off to a great start - the latest from Rio and the Olympic Games with our reporter Jane Prendagast. Anthony also speaks to Alastair Murray from Housing Justice and asking him why the charity is incensed by the latest housing figures from the government. Anthony also speaks to the newly arrived in Norfolk Revd Canon David Smith leading St. Benet's Abbey's annual service this morning AND finding out why Anita's arriving for the service on a Mississippi riverboat!
After eight o'clock, the YMCA in Norfolk is challenging young people to improve their communities health - inspired by the Rio Olympics. Anthony will also be speaking to two churches in Wymondham and Hemblington as they've been recognised as being the most welcoming in Norfolk. And, as it's the first Sunday in August, there's another modern take on a Bible story from Jane Clamp our resident creative writer.
