Hate crime prosecutions on the increase
Figures from the Crown Prosecution Service show the overall number of hate crime prosecutions has risen by almost five per cent, with more than four out of five classed as racially or religiously motivated.
Alison Saunders, the Director of Prosecutions for the CPS, spoke to Joanna Gosling about the surge in hate crime.
