Brexit to Zika: How to Manage a Crisis
Note to Britain's new PM post-Brexit and to every manager in a crisis: Don't panic but recognise why those around you are. And Kellaway on how best to commute through a busy city.
We learn how to keep our heads while those around us are losing theirs. From Brexit to Zika to economic meltdown, different parts of the world are feeling the heat in different ways at the moment. So we've summoned a leading expert in crisis management, Peter Power of Visor Consultants and the chairman of the World Conference on Disaster Management, to mop our collectively fevered brow. Those are skills that might be useful in Rio just now as it prepares to host the Olympics amidst a zika epidemic and a new budget calamity, as it's being called. We have a report from there. And Lucy Kellaway of the Financial Times debates the relative merits of walking, cycling and taking public transport to work in a congested city.
