‘Apples reminded them of communism’
After the fall of communism in the early 1990s, Albania's main apple growing region rejected the fruit. The Â鶹Éç's Dan Saladino visits Kolcha or 'the village of apples', and asks Nikko Kaporani from the Kolcha province agricultural department why that's now changing.
