Should vets use homeopathy on animals?
More than 2,300 people have signed a petition calling for homeopathy for animals to be banned.
An open letter being sent to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons asks for the treatment, which is based on the use of highly diluted substances claimed to aid healing, to be blacklisted from what vets are allowed to offer animals and their owners.
Victoria Derbyshire presenter Joanna Gosling spoke to Geoff Johnson, a homeopathy vet and member of the British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons, Charlotte Boize whose horse was treated with homeopathy and Danny Chambers, who is the vet who set up the petition.
