Eamon Martin's Somme Visit
In the past few days, the most senior Catholic Churchman on the island has also made the trip to France. The Catholic Primate Archbishop Eamon Martin travelled for the first time to see where the fighting and dying took place, and visited the grave of his great uncle who fought in the war.
He visited with the Church of Ireland Archbishop Richard Clarke and a group of young people from North and South.
